A: The website migration service available at AdlerSys - Serious Hosting is absolutely free and involves moving all your web files, databases and emails from your present hosting provider to your brand–new hosting account with us. We’ll also fine–tune all the settings necessary for your sites to be fully operational on our ultramodern cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are completely capable of moving any type of website. With years of experience behind their backs, they are experts in the specificities of our hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other famous Control Panels. For them, moving a custom web app with numerous custom libraries is as elementary as moving a simple WordPress–based blog.

A: While we can’t give you an exact time window, since there are plenty of variables, among them the physical size of the web files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our best to transfer your website within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (when the content is not very large).

A: We do not require any private details. We will need, though, the login info for your current web hosting account and the name of the site that you want to migrate.

A: In order for us to begin the transfer of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to disclose more or less the same info you have provided to your old hosting provider. We also have an extremely rigid Privacy Policy, which describes how personal information is tackled.

A: While we transfer your web site, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your old web hosting provider. After the migration is complete, we’ll make certain that everything is working properly and that the integrity of your data is not affected prior to informing you that the migration is finished. Then we’ll explain to you how to move the domain name to your web hosting account with us and how to edit the DNS resource records.

A: No. We’ll never contact your hosting provider about anything. They won’t be aware of the website migration either.

A: We support all Linux–powered web hosting platforms. Basically, if we can acquire access to your Control Panel, we’ll be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source site management platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
